224 Mr. Lenihan asked the Minister for Education the proposals, if any, there are to allocate funding to Coláiste Phadraig, Lucan, County Dublin, towards the provision of additional classrooms and a sports hall; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [9847/97]
My Department has approved the provision of a 2,200 square metre extension to this school, including a PE hall.
The stage 1 documentation in respect of this project is currently being examined by my Department's technical staff. As this project is at an early stage of the planning process, the question of finance does not arise at this time.
