328 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will have arrangements made to pay the balance of cattle headage for 1996 to a person (details supplied) in County Leitrim which was due to to be paid in December 1996. [9923/97]
The person concerned was paid £313.79 under the 1996 cattle headage scheme on 19 October 1996. This payment was calculated on an incorrect forage area of 3.99 hectares. The area has now been amended to 8.50 hectares.
Arrangements are now in hand to have a supplementary payment issued.
331 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will have arrangements made to pay 1995 suckler premia to a person (details supplied) in County Monaghan. [9931/97]
This herdowner lodged an appeal with the headage and premia appeals unit. This appeal is being considered. He will be notified in writing of the outcome as soon as his case has been fully examined.
