Ceist:

149 Mr. N. Treacy asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications the number of licences allocated to MMDS operators throughout the country; the names of each successful licence holder; the areas which the licence covers; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10929/97]

Ten MMDS licences have been issued. The names of the licensees, the MMDS cells in respect of which the licences are issued and the approximate geographic areas to which these cells correspond are set out in the attached schedule.
