67 Miss M. Wallace asked the Minister for Health the current complement of speech therapists in County Meath; the location of the speech therapy clinics; whether there is sufficient staffing to deal with the speech therapy requirements of the County Meath population; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10849/97]

Limerick East): There are 8.2 whole-time equivalent speech and language therapy posts currently filled in Meath Community Care Area. Clinics take place in health centres in Navan, Trim, Ashbourne and Kells. The North-Eastern Health Board is satisfied that there is sufficient staff to deal with the current speech and language therapy requirements of County Meath.
