136 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will pay compensation to a person (details supplied) in County Cork in view of his Department's failure to allocate an additional milk quota in 1984 to meet his farm development plan. [11044/97]

It is assumed that the question is being asked in the context of a recent Supreme Court judgment on milk quotas. This case is still subject to further litigation in the High Court. No provision otherwise has been made in this respect.
