150 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Health and Children the amount of funding received by the Cork Dental School from his Department for each of the past five years; the purpose of this allocation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16368/97]

The funding allocated by my Department to the Cork Dental School and hospital for each of the past five years is as follows:

The allocation for the current year 1997 is £0.64 million. An annual allocation is made available to the school and hospital for the provision of dental services to eligible persons under the Health Acts.
