228 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he has received the final report from the working group on qualifications for appointments as judges of the High and Supreme Courts; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16271/97]

I have not received the final report of the working group on qualifications for appointment as judges of the High and Supreme Courts.

I understand that considerable progress has been made by the working group and I recently asked the group to report to me as soon as possible.
