Written Answers - Swimming Pool Projects.
There is a provision of £3.5 million in my Department's Vote for 1997 for the construction and refurbishment of swimming pools. This provision is fully committed to projects under construction or fully approved and on which work will shortly commence. Having regard to the high level of demand for swimming pool proposals generally, it is not possible to indicate when capital funding will be approved for the Ennis swimming pool.
