97 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the current position regarding the proposed Greyhound Industry Bill; when he will introduce it to Dáil Éireann; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21676/97]

Legal issues have arisen in the drafting of the proposed legislation. Until these issues are resolved I will not be in a position to say when it will be introduced to Dáil Éireann.
