Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Hayes — the need to establish a commission on the status of men and that an inquiry be commissioned to address the problems men face in society; (2) Deputy McManus — reports that the Minister for Health and Children intends to withhold from publication part of the research commissioned by the previous Government into the background to crisis pregnancies and abortion; (3) Deputy Neville — the circumstances giving rise to the non-prosecution in the courts of a case involving a charge of dangerous driving causing the death of a person from Knocklong, County Limerick outside Tipperary town; (4) Deputy Yates — the need to clarify the position in relation to the proposed sale of TEAM Aer Lingus to FLS Aviation; (5) Deputy Fitzgerald — the decision by the Minister for Defence to apply to the High Court to suspend claims in the army deafness compensation cases.

The matters raised by Deputies Yates, Fitzgerald, McManus and Hayes have been selected for discussion.
