217 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the reason for the delay in the commencement of the housing scheme at Ferdia Park, Ardee which was sanctioned by his predecessor; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3029/98]

Louth County Council sought approval on 23 January 1998 for acceptance of a tender for the housing scheme at Ferdia Park, Ardee. Approval issued on 5 February.
