234 Mr. Crawford asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if his Department has made provision for finance to be provided for Cootehill, County Cavan sewerage scheme in the 1998 Estimates. [3429/98]
I propose to take Questions Nos. 221 and 234 together.
This scheme is included in the 1998 water and sewerage services investment programme to be advanced through the planning stage this year.
222 Ms McManus asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when he will sanction the brief for the consultants for the Arklow main drainage scheme which was submitted by Arklow UDC in June 1997. [3111/98]
As the scheme is included in the water and sewerage services investment programme for 1998 to be advanced through planning, consideration is now being given to approving the brief.
