227 Ms Clune asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if all local authorities completed a local agenda 21 for their areas; the proposals, if any, he has to deal with these reports; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3325/98]

I refer the Deputy to the reply to Question No. 259 of 25 November 1997 in relation to the completion of local agenda 21 initiatives by local authorities. I will be inviting local authorities, at the end of this year, to report on actions taken.
