328 Mr. Lawlor asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will confirm the acquisition of a site for Coláiste Cois Life and a gaelscoil in Lucan, County Dublin; the course of action, if any, intended to provide for the accommodation requirements of the pupils and students from September 1998; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Arrangements are being made by the building unit of my Department and County Dublin Vocational Education Committee to finalise the acquisition of a site for Coláiste Cois Life and Gaelscoil Naomh Phádraig in Lucan, County Dublin.
The gaelscoil is currently located in temporary premises at Stewart's Hospital, Palmerstown, Dublin 20, and is expected to remain there pending the provision of permanent accommodation. The question of the provision of temporary accommodation for Coláiste Cois Life from September 1998 is being explored with the VEC.
