Written Answers. - Private Security Firms.
I am aware that there are a number of firms which provide the type of commercial service referred to by the Deputy. All such services, of course, must be provided in accordance with the law. As the Deputy may be aware, my Department has recently published the report of the Consultative Group on the Private Security Industry which is relevant in this regard. The report contains a number of recommendations which are currently being examined.
