I propose to take Questions Nos. 71, 91, 98 and 117 together.

Government sanction was obtained recently to enable the Health and Safety Authority to increase its total staff allocation from 112 to 119 with effect from the 1 January 1998. The recruitment and appointment of these additional staff is a day-to-day matter for the authority, but I understand the process is under way at present.
