Vol. 487 No. 6

Written Answers - Driving Tests.

Jack Wall

Ceist:

250 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the reason a person (details supplied) in County Kildare has to wait 13 months for a driving test; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5013/98]

This person applied for a driving test on 19 November last and, in the normal course, should be tested in about 12 weeks from now. However, if an early test is needed for an urgent reason such as employment, a test appointment will be arranged quickly.
