Vol. 487 No. 6

Written Answers - Departmental Correspondence.

John Gormley

Ceist:

288 Mr. Gormley asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the action, if any, he has taken on foot of a complaint lodged with his Department by a person (details supplied) in Dublin 3. [4640/98]

The person concerned wrote to me last August complaining about various matters arising out of legal proceedings in which he was involved. In the course of a lengthy reply, which issued to him on 3 October 1997, certain courses of action were suggested that might be open to him in the pursuit of his complaints. It would appear from a recent letter he sent to me that he was not happy with that reply. I regret, however, that there is nothing that can be added to that reply and a further letter to this effect will be sent to him shortly.
