Ceist:110 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the total expenditure incurred by his Department for each of the past five years on flights on Ryanair aircraft. [4927/98]

Accounting records do not readily identify the various airlines used by officers of this Department. A considerable length of time and level of resources would be required to elicit this information in a comprehensive and accurate manner from a significant range of travel account records. The diversion of scarce resources could not be justified in this case.
