67 Mr. S. Ryan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the position regarding the application from Fingal County Council for funding for the Balgriffin sewerage scheme. [10237/98]
68 Mr. S. Ryan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the position regarding the sewerage improvement proposals for Rolestown, County Dublin, which were recently submitted to his Department for funding; and if finance will be made available for this scheme. [10238/98]
I propose to take Questions Nos. 67 and 68 together.
Contract documents for the Rolestown-Balcoultry sewerage scheme and a brief for the Bal-griffin-Limekiln sewerage scheme have been submitted to my Department. Given the high level of commitments under the water and sewerage services investment programme, I cannot say when these schemes may be advanced. The two schemes were recently proposed by Fingal County Council for funding under the serviced land initiative and I will shortly announce details of the schemes being approved under the first tranche of funding.
