Ceist:79 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason it is acceptable that participants in the back to education allowance scheme suffer no loss in their benefit claim period while participants in the vocational training opportunity scheme do, in view of the fact that the latter scheme uses up part of the maximum time in which benefit can be paid; if he will review this matter with a view to allowing students under both schemes the same benefits; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
