218 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if a person (details supplied) in County Wexford will be paid the full DSP plus top-up entitlements on the BSE related national scheme of compensation in 1997; and, if so, if payment can be expedited. [12131/98]
The person named applied for 13 animals under the deseasonalisation slaughter premium scheme in July 1997. The animals applied for all qualify for the additional BSE-agrimonetary compensation payment of £10 per head on animals slaughtered in the period 1-1-97 to 30-6-97 and for the £41.04 per head on animals slaughtered in the period 1-4-97 to 30-6-97.
