467 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education and Science if approval will issue to the board of management of a primary school (details supplied) in County Kilkenny which has submitted drawings and costings to his Department in relation to a heating system urgently required in this school. [11744/98]
In December 1997, my Department approved grant aid towards the cost of upgrading the heating system at the school to which the Deputy refers. The school authorities engaged a consultant heating engineer to assist them with the project. The present position is that he is due to furnish updated costings and drawings to the Department. I understand that it is proposed to carry out the work during the summer holidays.
