476 Mr. U. Burke asked the Minister for Education and Science when funding will be made available for the much needed extension of classrooms for a school (details supplied) in County Galway; when work will begin in order that accommodation will be in place for the start of new school year in September 1998; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Tenders are now being sought for the extension project at the school in question. The Deputy can be assured it is my intention that this extension project will proceed to construction at the earliest possible date.
