Ceist:376 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has received a request for funding at the rate of £1 per hour for the 6,000 adult voluntary leaders who devote approximately 500 hours per year looking after children who are members of Scouting Ireland, CSI; if he will consider this allocation in order to provide an equivalent professional service for youth which would amount to £3 million which is considerably more than the £313,000 which the association currently receives from the Government; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
