111 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will appoint an additional teacher to a school (details supplied) in County Roscommon in view of the fact that the enrolment warrants this appointment. [15286/98]

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that based on an enrolment of 62 pupils in September 1997 the school to which he refers is entitled to appoint its second assistant teacher with effect from 1 September 1998.
