Ceist:205 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive the final instalment of the 1997 special beef premium and the 1997 extensification payment. [18605/98]

Final payments to the person concerned in respect of 1997 special beef premium and extensification were delayed because of an area aid difficulty. This matter has now been resolved and payments of £125.12 in respect of 1997 special beef premium and £91.28 in respect of the balance of the 1997 extensification premium will be made shortly.
