Written Answers. - Poultry Industry.
It has been my policy to encourage sensible, sustainable growth in the poultry industry. One concrete example of this commitment is the allocation by my Department of EU and national aid towards productive investment projects. This has a positive impact throughout the different elements of the sector. I will continue to encourage, in whatever way I can, investment by the poultry industry to ensure it maximises its potential in terms of job creation, value added and competitive market presence.
