Ceist:265 Mr. Higgins (Mayo) asked the Minister for Finance the total legal costs for his Department in dealing with personal injury claims for each of the years from 1990 to 1997. [18486/98]
Written Answers. - Personal Injury Claims.
During the period 1990 to 1997 there were two personal injury claims settled against the Minister for Finance. In both cases the legal costs associated with defending the Minister for Finance were met by the Office of the Chief State Solicitor. These costs have not been identified separately by that office.
