35 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs his views on whether Ireland should join the NATO sponsored Partnership for Peace; his view on the assessment of the Secretary General of his Department at a recent meeting of the Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs that it was curious that Ireland had not decided to join; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
