Vol. 496 No. 2
70 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the plans, if any, there are to replace the Maryfield secretariat with a new office; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15954/98]
The Anglo-lrish Secretariat, which services the Anglo-Irish Intergovernmental Conference, established by the Anglo-Irish Agreement, will cease to exist on the entry into force of the new British-Irish Agreement and the transfer of powers to the new institutions, including the British-Irish Intergovernmental Conference and its standing joint secretariat. In this context, it is intended that the Anglo-Irish Secretariat will be relocated from its current premises at Maryfield by the end of the year.
