160 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if a person (details supplied) in County Cork is entitled to an installation aid grant under the revised scheme of installation aid to be introduced; when details of this scheme will be published; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The scheme of installation aid has been suspended since 7 August 1997. A revised national installation aid scheme, which is to be focused on those young farmers most in need of assistance, has been drawn up and is presently awaiting the approval of the EU Commission and the Department of Finance. Its terms and conditions will be announced when the necessary approvals have been obtained. Should the named person fulfil the conditions he will be able to apply.
