Vol. 496 No. 3

Written Answers. - Family Support Services.

Liam Lawlor

Ceist:

275 Mr. Lawlor asked the Minister for Health and Children if special assistance will be given to a person (details supplied) in County Dublin who has a quadriplegic and epileptic son, is providing full-time care for him and wishes to continue to do so in her own home under difficult circumstances. [22618/98]

The provision of health services for people with disabilities is a matter for the relevant health board. Accordingly, I have asked the chief executive officer of the Eastern Health Board to have this case examined as a matter of urgency and to reply directly to the Deputy.
