Ceist:

404 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will increase the level of pensions to retired principals and vice principals of community and comprehensive schools in view of the fact that the approximate increase of 28 per cent in the post of responsibility allowances for teachers is not fully reflected in their pensions. The position is that all retired teachers who held posts of responsibility during service will benefit in their pensions, on a parity basis with serving teachers, from the increase, provided in the PCW Agreement, of 28 per cent in the allowances for such posts.
