438 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will allocate remedial teachers for the Salesian College, Celbridge, County Kildare and St. Wolstan's second level school, Celbridge, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22753/98]
I am sure the Deputy will appreciate that there are many competing demands for increased funding in all sectors of education. These demands are considered within the overall budgetary constraints.
I can assure the Deputy that the position will be kept under review and the schools referred to by the Deputy will be considered when next it is possible to allocate additional ex-quota remedial posts.
