239 Mrs. B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the situation in relation to an application by Kerry County Council for a sewerage scheme for Farranfore, County Kerry; and when he will make funding available for this project. [23045/98]

A preliminary report for this scheme has been submitted to my Department. Given the high level of commitments under the water and sewerage services investment programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to approve this proposal.
