The Carl Gustaf 90 mm recoilless anti-tank weapon is being gradually withdrawn from service with the Defence Forces. The weapon has been out of production for more than 15 years and the purchase of spares and ammunition is proving problematic. In the past ammunition has been purchased from the sole source, Celsius of Sweden.
