181 Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation if an application can be made by Ard Scoil Rís secondary school, Dublin 9, for lottery funding under the sports capital programme to build a sports hall; if the facilities will be made available to the public; if construction has already commenced; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The sports capital programme is currently under review by my Department. When the review is completed, which I expect will be towards the end of 1998, details of the revised schemes will be widely publicised and it will be open to clubs and organisations to apply for funding under the new programme. Pending completion of the review, I am not in a position to say what the terms and conditions of the new programme will be.
