207 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Health and Children the number and type of educational referrals to date during the 1998-9 school year in the Waterford constituency for psychological assessment to the Brothers of Charity services based in Lisduggan Lodge, Waterford, and to the community care psychological service; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As responsibility for the provision of routine educational psychological assessment for school children is a matter in the first instance for the Department of Education and Science, the Brothers of Charity Services, Lisduggan Lodge, Waterford, have not taken referrals for educational psychological assessments in the current school year. In relation to the Waterford community care psychological service, I have been informed by the South-Eastern Health Board that there have not been any educational referrals to that service in the period in question.
