Ceist:344 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Education and Science the situation in relation to the application by the Wicklow VEC for a physical education hall at Scoil Chonglais, Baltinglass, County Wicklow. [25613/98]
Written Answers - Physical Education Facilities.
Approval in principle has been given to the application for a physical education hall and additional classroom space at Scoil Chonglais, Baltinglass, County Wicklow.
The matter has recently been discussed with officials of County Wicklow Vocational Education Committee and the question of additional ancillary and administration areas is currently been addressed by officials in the planning and building unit of my Department.
It is intended that my Department will be in contact with County Wicklow Vocational Education Committee shortly in order to progress the architectural design of the project.
