Ceist:

David Stanton

Ceist:

91 Mr. Stanton asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the names of the members on the working group on company law compliance and enforcement; when the group will conclude its work; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [26225/98]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 30 and 91 together.

I have been informed by the chairman of the working group on company law compliance and enforcement, Mr. Michael McDowell, SC, that the group has substantially agreed its report and that he expects the report to be formally submitted to me next week.

No interim reports have been submitted to me. I will be considering the report of the group over the Christmas period and I would hope to put proposals before Government in the new year. It is my intention to publish the report once the Government has concluded its deliberations.
