Unemployment rates by county consistent with those calculated at national level in accordance with the International Labour Organisation (ILO) standards are not available. The only data available at sub-national level are from the quarterly national household survey (QNHS) for the eight regional authorities. The latest data available are for the March-May 1998 quarter and are set out in the following table:
