68 Mr. Timmins asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the number of new jobs created in County Wicklow since 1 January 1996 that have received Government assistance; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [27205/98]

My Department does not compile statistics relating to the creation of new jobs in County Wicklow. This is a matter for which the development agencies have responsibility and I have asked them to forward the information requested to Deputy Timmins.
