388 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he has satisfied himself with the contract between his Department and Esat Digiphone in relation to the locating of antenna on Garda stations masts. [27608/98]
With regard to the contract with East Digifone, the second licensed mobile telephone operator, the contractual agreement was concluded, with the approval of the previous Government, on 25 June 1997, and provides for the co-location of mobile telephony equipment at a number of specified Garda premises.
My Department is currently engaged in consultations with Esat Digifone in relation to the implementation of the contract.
I am unsure as to what the Deputy means when he asks whether I am satisfied with the contract.
