Vol. 499 No. 1

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

John Perry

Ceist:

256 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 162 of 2 December 1998, area aid problems will be resolved for a person (details supplied) in County Sligo and 1998 cattle headage released in view of the fact that there is no change from his 1997 area aid application; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28312/98]

A query arose in relation to three parcels of land which are being claimed by other herdowners. Maps issued to the herdowners concerned, but the query has not yet been resolved. Payment in respect of cattle headage cannot issue until the area aid application is finalised.
