415 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the criteria for eligibility for the control of farmyard pollution scheme; if eligibility will be determined by the number of stock that a farm has; and, if so, the reason for this. [1788/99]

The eligibility criteria for a more focused scheme for the control of farm pollution are presently being finalised and the stock numbers on the farm will be taken into account in order to target the scheme towards those farmers most in need of assistance.
