586 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Health and Children if his Department will make a grant available towards the capital cost of a childcare resource centre (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1821/99]
Lottery funding of £15,000 in 1996 and £50,000 in 1997 was made available by my Department to the organisation in question towards the cost of providing a new premises. I also understand that a grant of £50,000 was made available by the Department of Social, Community and Family Affairs in 1998.
The matter can be considered again in 1999 in the context of funding already made available and also having regard to the total lottery funding available to my Department.
