811 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of gun licences his Department has issued to people in south Tipperary for each of the years from 1995 to 1998; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1351/99]
The information sought in so far as it is available is set out in the following table. Statistics of firearm certificates issued to residents are compiled on the basis of the year ending 31 July. The statistics for south Tipperary are not readily available. However, the number of certificates issued to residents in County Tipperary as a whole from 1995 onwards are set out in the following table.
