Vol. 499 No. 1

Written Answers. - Educational Projects.

Richard Bruton

Ceist:

901 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Education and Science if his attention has been drawn to the new initiative taken by St. Mary's girls' school, Bishop Street, Limerick, to obtain sponsorship for four key projects of value (details supplied) in tackling educational disadvantage; and if he will make funds available in order that his Department could be one of the sponsors. [1016/99]

My attention had not been previously drawn to the initiatives being undertaken by St. Mary's girls' school but I would like to commend the school on the plans it is putting in place.

I have referred these projects to the relevant sections and agencies of my Department for consideration.
