Ceist:

220 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of fatalities in County Mayo, nationwide and on a health board region basis due to cancer for each of the years from 1994 to date. [3547/99]

Data on mortality are routinely published in the annual and quarterly reports on vital statistics compiled by the Central Statistics Office. The most recent figures available refer to the third quarter of 1998 and are set out in the following table in addition to data for the years 1994 to 1997.
